Helena Alves, a member of the IEI Scientific Committee and of the International Association on Public and Nonprofit Marketing, appears among the best researchers in the world in a study involving a researcher from Stanford University.
The selection is presented in the article entitled "Scientifically updated author databases of standardized citation indicators" on authors and citations, published in the journal PLOS Biology in October, and covers a wide variety of academic areas: 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields.
The evaluation was conducted by a team led by a researcher from Stanford University (USA), who conducted a study of researchers who stood out for the scientific projection of their research, based on citation values, according to the accredited database. SCOPUS online.
The article presents two categories: career, which measures the impact throughout the career (with data updated until the end of 2019) and research impact for the year (counted until May 6, 2020).
