The Faculty of Economics and the Cañada Blanch Foundation are organizing the IV Conference on Economics and Business to be held on February 12 and 13 in the Sánchez Ayuso Hall of the Faculty.
During these two days, professionals and academics of recognized prestige in the field of economics and business create a forum for discussion with students, teachers and the general public dealing with issues that currently have maximum relevance and closely linked to the economic situation in Spain and its prospects, as well as the keys to business success.
The conference will be inaugurated on Thursday, February 12 by Máximo Buch, Minister of Economy, Industry, Tourism and Employment of the Generalitat Valenciana; Esteban Morcillo, Rector of the University of Valencia; Juan López Trigo, President of the Cañada Blanch Foundation and Vicent Soler, Dean of the Faculty of Economics.
José Sevilla, CEO of Bankia, will give the inaugural lecture as the starting point for the Economics and Business Conference.
This will be followed by the first of the round tables "Economic current affairs under debate: situation and perspectives" with the participation of Francisco Pérez, Professor at the University of Valencia and Ivie Research Director; Javier Andrés, Professor of Fundamentals of Economic Analysis and IEI researcher; Joaquín Maudos, Professor of Fundamentals of Economic Analysis, Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Ivie Deputy Director of Research and José Manuel Pastor, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics.
On February 13, the second of the round tables, "Keys to business success", will feature Amadeo Salvo, Executive Vice President of Power Electronics; Javier Luján, President of Construcciones Luján; Raúl Royo, CEO of the Royo Group and Vicente Safón, professor at the School of Economics.
Juan Luis Gandía, Vice Rector of Economics and Infrastructures of the University of Valencia, will be in charge of closing the IV Conference on Economics and Business.
