During the webinar, the researchers explained the different projects to be developed by the Chair, their academic foundations, and the relevance of their work for the Valencian society and economy.

Directed by Paloma Taltavull de la Paz, Professor of Applied Economics at the UA, the research team integrates members of the three IEI sites. The IEI Valencia team - composed of Leandro García, Vicente Pallardó, Bárbara Vázquez and María Feo - together with the IEI UJI team - Celestino Suárez, Javier Ordóñez and Juan Carlos Cuestas - will carry out the research on logistics infrastructures and connectivity, with special emphasis on the effects of Covid-19 on global and regional supply chains. The IEI Alicante team, made up of Paloma Taltavull, Francisco Juáres, Raúl Pérez, Ana Ramón, Jose Manuel Casado and Eloísa Norman, will focus their research on the interrelationships between connectivity and urban and territorial development.
