On May 19, at the headquarters of the Port Authority of Valencia (APV), took place the constitution of the Chair of Port Economics, a joint project of the APV and the University of Valencia (UV), which will be developed within the framework of the Institute of International Economics (IEI).
With the presence of the President of the APV, Dr. D. Aurelio Martínez Estévez, and the Vice Chancellor of Innovation and Transfer of the UV, Dr. Dª Rosa María Donat Beneito, the Joint Commission of the Chair appointed the IEI researcher Dr. Vicente Juan Pallardó López as Director of the Chair. Then, the lines of work to be developed by the Chair team were established, as well as the dissemination activities to be carried out to transmit to society in general, and to economic and academic agents specialized in the sector, in particular, the results derived from these lines of work.
