Next Thursday, November 5, the seminar "Confronting climate change from the financial markets" will be held at the headquarters of the Institute of International Economics (C/ Serpis 29).
The day will take place over one day, in morning and afternoon sessions. In the morning, the session would take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., with presentations by the invited speakers; in the afternoon, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., a round table/brainstorming session would be held, with the participation not only of the speakers but also of all those attending the sessions.
The objective of the event is to review the state of the art regarding the role of financial markets, from different perspectives, in relation to the efforts to mitigate climate change, to know the points of view of issuers and private investors and Public Administrations and to contribute to build scenarios and proposals that contribute to the process, allowing a transmission of proposals not only to the agents directly involved but also to society as a whole.
Registration is required.
