Araceli Mora Enguídanos, Professor of Financial Economics and Accounting at the University of Valencia and member of the Institute of International Economics has been elected President-Elect of theEuropean Accounting Association (EAA) on May 18, 2024 in Bucharest, where the Annual Congress of the association took place.

As such, she will be part of its Steering Committee from that date and will become the President of the association in 2025. The EAA has more than 2,200 members from all countries of the world, mainly European, and its objective is to create a framework for exchange that ensures and promotes the development of research, teaching and social impact of the accounting discipline, as well as to develop relations with all other professional associations and regulators in the field of corporate and institutional reporting(https://eaa-online.org/).
