Aurelio Martínez and Vicente Pallardó will present the book Los Siete Pecados Capitales de la Economía Española (The Seven Deadly Sins of the Spanish Economy) next Thursday 28th at 19.00 hours at the ADEIT headquarters. In this book the authors present the parallelism between the seven deadly sins and the different economic, social and political aspects that are key to analyze the current structural crisis. The authors reveal the origins and implications of these "Deadly Sins" and remind us that this is not the first time that our country has faced and overcome crisis situations.

The book presents the essential reforms to be carried out, insisting that recovery requires a double and difficult balance: the first, between austerity and reforms, and stimulus to growth; the second, between an intense effort of transformation of the Spanish socio-economic agents and aid in the form of financing and external demand from our European partners.

Aurelio Martínez and Vicente Pallardó are researchers at the Institute of International Economics and professors at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia.
