The IEI collaborates in the Course on Environmental Deterioration and Feminization of Poverty (from March 9 to 11, 2011), organized by the IPADE Foundation (www.fundacion-ipade.org) and financed by the Consellería de Solidaritat i Ciudadanía. The course aims to raise awareness and train the Valencian population on the relationship between environmental degradation and the feminisation of poverty in southern countries, and to involve the university population and agents of regional cooperation as well as Valencian society in general.
