On 10 July 2019 the doctoral thesis presented by Julián Martínez Moya was defended at the Faculty of Economics under the title: "Port competitiveness: the role of port authorities and connectivity in port selection" directed by Dr. María Feo Valero within the framework of the Doctoral Programme in International Economics and Tourism of the Institute of International Economics.
