In the framework of the European project co-financed by EIT Climate-KIC LOOP-Ports (Circular Economy Network of Ports) the IEI has organized an institutional workshop on Circular Economy in ports of the Valencian Community . This workshop will take place next Thursday 26th November at 9.30 am through the ZOOM platform.
The aim of the workshop is to present the results of the project and thus open the discussion on the potential of the Circular Economy in the ports of the Valencian Community and the role of the institutions to facilitate and promote its implementation.
To this end, after setting the context and reference framework through the presentations of the EC strategy in the Valencian Community, the Net-Zero Emissions Maritime Hubs initiative of Climate KIC and the results of the LOOP project, it will be deepened through the interventions of representatives of the ports of the VC on their strategies in terms of sustainability and the potential for the Circular Economy.
