HUMANIST LEISURE DAYS: SPACES OF COMMON DIALOGUE IN THE CITY

Even in times of crisis, the leisure industry accounts for 5.2% of GDP. The Cátedra Ciudad de Valencia 2012 organizes, on the 25th, 26th and 27th of April, the Conference Humanist Leisure: Spaces of Common Dialogue in the City. The aim of this conference is to bring together the different players - academics and professionals - who work in all areas of leisure, and to this end there will be a large number of representatives from the administration (Valencia City Council, University of Valencia), business (Olympia Theatre, La Esfera Azul, Zeppelin TV, Minube, Turisticate ,Festival Rototom, K7...), and foundations (Turismo Valencia, ONCE, Open until dawn, Fundación Mundo 21, FESA,...).

The conferences are aimed at students, professionals and all social agents interested in the reality of leisure from various perspectives.
