On April 25, Amparo Cervera, Professor of Marketing and Market Research, and Gregorio García, Professor of Economic Analysis, Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia, participated in the visit of the European partners of the NEPCO Project, developed by the City of Valencia.

 

The NEPCO Project aims to analyze the labor market needs, professional profiles and competencies of the three participating countries (Spain, Denmark and Germany), and the meeting in Valencia was attended by Helle Bonde, Director of the Center for Competence Development and Labor Market Planning of Randers (Denmark); Thomas Müller, manager of Harz AG - Regional Initiative for the growth of the district of Wernigerode (Germany); Katja Heidler, technician of Harz AG - Regional Initiative for the growth of the district of Wernigerode (Germany); Heike Schittko, head of the Federal Employment Agency in Halberstadt (Germany); and on behalf of the City of Valencia, Cristina Garcí, head of the Employment Service, together with two technicians from the Service, attended the meeting.

In their speech, Amparo Cervera and Gregorio García presented the main objectives and conclusions of the "Report on employment needs and professional profiles for university graduates in the city of Valencia and its metropolitan area".
