Visit of the European partners of the NEPCO Project

On April 25th, Amparo Cervera, Professor of Marketing and Market Research, and Gregorio García, Professor of Economic Analysis, from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia, participated in the visit of the European partners of the NEPCO Project, developed by Valencia City Council.

 

The NEPCO Project aims to analyse the labour market needs, professional profiles and competences of the three participating countries (Spain, Denmark and Germany), and the meeting in Valencia was attended by Helle Bonde, director of the Centre for Skills Development and Labour Market Planning at Randers (Denmark); Thomas Müller, manager of Harz AG - Regional Initiative for the growth of the district of Wernigerode (Germany); Katja Heidler, technician of Harz AG - Regional Initiative for the growth of the district of Wernigerode (Germany); Heike Schittko, head of the Federal Employment Agency in Halberstadt (Germany); and on behalf of the City of Valencia, attended Cristina Garcí, head of the Employment Service, along with two technicians of the Service.

In their intervention, Amparo Cervera and Gregorio García presented the main objectives and conclusions of the "Report on employment needs and professional profiles for university graduates in the city of Valencia and its metropolitan area".
