On May 6th took place the reading and defense of the Doctoral Thesis: "Tourism planning from a competitiveness approach through foresight: The case of the Canton Ambato, Ecuador", authored by Johanna Gabriela Monge Martínez, within the framework of the Doctorate in International Economics and Tourism of the University of Valencia.
The thesis was supervised by Dr. Rosa María Yagüe Perales and Dr. Gregorio García Mesanat. From the Institute of International Economics of the University of Valencia.
The evaluating board was composed of Dr. Juan Ignacio Pulido Fernández (Universidad de Jaén), Dr. Adrián Ferrandis Martínez (Universitat de València) and Dr. Raquel Huete Nieves (Universidad de Alicante).
The work was evaluated with a grade of Outstanding.
