Today, the Cullera's Socioeconomic Promotion Council has been constituted and ratified by the Cullera's City Council plenary session in October 2020. Gregorio García Mesanat, a researcher at the IEI, participates in this council.
This organization has been created by Cullera City Council to channel and make effective the participation of the most representative socioeconomic agents in all those matters and policies affecting the local and economic development of the municipality. Thus, the Council was created as a consultative and advisory body of Cullera City Council in economic, social and employment matters, with special emphasis on tourism. It was created with the aim of making effective the participation and tripartite social dialogue between the Municipal Corporation, the most representative trade union, business and socio-economic organizations, exercising its functions with autonomy and independence.
